History

Good Shepherd Anglican Church has its roots in the Granbury/Acton community dating back several decades. Originally established as a small fellowship gathering in homes, it grew steadily over the years, drawing believers from diverse backgrounds seeking a traditional yet welcoming expression of Christianity. In 1974, recognizing the need for a permanent place of worship, a dedicated group of individuals came together to establish Good Shepherd Anglican Church. Since then, our congregation has flourished, deepening its commitment to serving God and the local community. Through times of joy and challenge, we have remained steadfast in our mission to proclaim the Gospel and share the love of Christ with all who cross our path. Today, we continue to write the next chapter in our history, guided by the Holy Spirit and inspired by the example of our Lord Jesus Christ.
